Step 1: The Pre-Qualification Quiz

Determine your eligibility. Take our short quiz to see if your insurance plan and situation typically qualify for a medical hair solution. This is the first step to knowing if your plan is likely to provide coverage before you head to the doctor’s office.

Step 2: Establish Your Medical Foundation

Secure your diagnosis and prescription. If you pre-qualify, you must visit your doctor to obtain a formal medical diagnosis and a prescription. 

To ensure insurance acceptance, your prescription must be on official physician letterhead and specifically written for a "Cranial Prosthesis." It must also include relevant medical diagnosis codes (ICD-10) and the physician's full details (NPI) and signature.

Step 3: Insurance & Prescription Intake

Upload your documents for review. Once you have your medical documents in hand, simply fill out the Insurance/Prescription Intake Form provided in your quiz results. You will securely upload both your insurance card and your new prescription here! 

This complete file allows us to jump in and begin the official verification process on your behalf.

Step 4: Coverage Verification

We verify the details for you. Once we have your complete file, our team takes the lead. We call your provider (e.g., BCBS) to confirm exactly how much your plan covers. We handle the hold music and the insurance jargon to get you a clear answer on your benefits.

Step 5: Your Custom Consultation

This is the fun part! If you choose to proceed after your coverage is verified, we’ll meet for a personal consultation. We’ll pick out a custom hair solution tailored to your lifestyle, preferences, and aesthetic. This step is about more than just hair; it’s about restoring your confidence and making sure you feel like you again.

Step 6: Paperwork & Financial Selection

Secure your solution and start the claim. Once you’ve selected your solution, we handle the technical paperwork and you choose the financial path that works best for you:

• Option A: Pay in Full. You pay in full to initiate immediate processing of the hair solution. We provide a detailed invoice and handle all insurance reimbursement paperwork on your behalf so the check goes directly to you.

• Option B: Pay Retainer. We submit your documents to insurance, and once your reimbursement arrives, the remaining balance is paid. Hair solution is processed after reimbursement.

Step 7: Delivery & Reimbursement Support

Receive your solution and finalize the process. Based on the financial option you chose, we move into the final stage. You will receive your custom hair solution, and we will stay by your side to provide the guidance you need to understand your claim status until your reimbursement is finalized!
